About us
Jazzy DPO is a data protection consultancy advising on data protection regulations in Europe. Our work is centred around understanding the client’s business needs and brand identity and creating tailored processes that are in line with applicable law, easy to understand and to follow. All our services include internal workshops followed by comprehensive training for employees; this helps us get your business aligned with its obligations and change the narrative from data protection as a tick box exercise to data protection as a cultural change.

Why 'Jazzy'?
Data protection is a bit like jazz - you could say it doesn't follow a straight path. It has a set of general rules, but they apply differently to different situations and different organisations. So we thought 'jazzy' is a good analogy. But also because we're trying to add a bit of fun in all our processes and training sessions - make them as lively as possible. We don't want to be 'just another data protection consultancy'.
How does your service work?
We offer a variety of services that can be customised to our clients' requirements. Our main service offering is the implementation of bespoke data protection compliance programs. Once these are implemented firm-wide, we can continue supporting the business as advisers for a monthly fee. If, however, the business is happy to manage the program themselves, we can be retained for data protection projects that may be required from time to time.
Can you help with a one-off enquiry?
Yes - even though this is not our main service offering, we can and do help with one-off projects or enquiries such as DPIAs, a consultation for a DSAR response, a Data Processing Agreement, etc. More details can be found on our Services page.
How much does it cost?
Our pricing varies depending on the service provided. The fee for the compliance programs depends on the duration of the program implementation. The monthly support packages start at a fixed fee, but they can be customised if the client requires so, which can impact the fee. The only fee that is fixed is the one for a one-off project or enquiry, which is based on an hourly rate.
Why Romania?
The founder is a Romanian/British citizen. After starting and spending most of her career in the UK, she decided to return to Romania and continue servicing business in Europe. Romania is a beautiful country, but is also a strategic location - because the country is part of the European Union, Jazzy DPO can offer EU Representative services to businesses located outside the EU.
